Indoor painting practice, had to be quick this time because was rushing to get lunch. Tried to focus on cool/warm distinction between interior/exterior and push saturation of colors outside.

My friend Camille has these awesome christmas lights in her room, and I wanted to draw them. I tried to push the values and make the colors more fantastical.

Moar digital painting practice! Wash U’s Lopata common room. I wanted to make the lighting dramatic. I think I should have played with colors more but wasn’t sure what to do. i’d love some painting advice if anyone has any to share.

Images from a senior comic project I completed, based off of the story Axolotl by Julio Cortazar. It was really interesting to do since I had never done a comic with multiple spreads before. I found myself more interested in the environment scenes than those with characters.
